This achievement underscores our commitment to advancing green, intelligent manufacturing across the beverage industry.

At the Nanjing plant, the implementation of an innovative Hot Water Centre system enables efficient recovery of excess heat from air compressors and other equipment, reducing steam demand and cutting almost 1,700 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions. The system will be progressively deployed to other plants, and once fully implemented across our Chinese Mainland operations, it is expected to reduce more than 20,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.

The Wuhan plant buys steam generated from agricultural waste—such as straw and wood chips. This biomass solution generates clean energy and reduces 1,515 tonnes of annual carbon emissions.

Across the Chinese Mainland, Swire Coca‑Cola continues to make strong progress in reducing its carbon emissions. Since 2018, energy efficiency has improved by 13%. Today, our operations in Chinese Mainland achieve approximately 60% renewable energy, with 11 plants now operating on 100% renewable electricity. In addition, 13 plants are equipped with solar PV systems that supply around 10% of daily operational power. We are also extending low‑carbon initiatives across our value chain—expanding electric and alternative fuel logistics fleets, deploying energy‑efficient coolers, and encouraging consumer participation in packaging recycling—to build an end‑to‑end green ecosystem.
